Alexandra Kokinova is a Russian Doll Artist whose limited edition dolls are hand-made from porcelain
and have a very delicate feel about them. Her work often wins awards at international dolls
exhibitions for the dolls clad in gorgeous costumes which are made from silk and decorated with
natural fur, beads and subtle laces. Her attention to detail is extraordinary when considering the
scale she works in. The details of the costumes from the last ribbon to the tiniest pearl on the
dress are reproduced with amazing technical and artistic skill. Semi-precious and precious stones
and antique knickknacks are often used as accessories. Each doll shows the love Alexandra has for
her creations.

As much as I was a Tomboy as a child, I now have a real fondness of beautiful dolls. Of
course when I saw these my ahhh meter just went off the charts!
